After visiting Edwards AFB for the October 2022 show, I took the opportunity to get to General William J. Fox Airfield in Lancaster, California, home to Fox Helitack H-532 and the United States Forest Service Fox AirTanker Base, serving the Angeles National Forest.
The crew of H-532 kindly agreed to escort me onto the airfield to capture some images of their Bell 205A-1 and other firefighting aircraft, including three Ericson S-64 Air Crane helicopters.
My thanks to the men of H-532 and admiration for the work that they do.
