Phil Dawe, with the support of the O/C 32 (Royal) Squadron at RAF Northolt, regularly organises night photography shoots, with proceeds going towards the restoration of the Battle of Britain Operations building, now known as the Sir Keith Park Building.
These provide many opportunities to photograph not only based aircraft but also some visitors which Phil manages to convince to attend. Sometimes, last-minute operational tasks cause some no-shows but on every occasion that I have attended, there has been something different.
