Another location quite close to where I stay when I am in the USA, this museum, located in the North East corner of Oakland International Airport (KOAK), packs a lot of exhibits into a relatively small space.
It is open to visitors Wednesdays to Sundays from 10am to 4pm – but beware – last entry is at 3pm and if no one is there at that time, the volunteers tend to lock up and go home, so plan your visit accordingly – it almost caught me out!!
There are an eclectic mix of aircraft here, covering both civilian and military topics. Not everything is original but it makes for an interesting vist.
